One of the biggest problems faced by a network marketer is often a lack of leads. Its common advice in the industry to prospect friends and family, create a warm list, prospect in the supermarket or maybe even cold calls, and all this stuff works, but is limited. There will come a time (very soon for most) where you simply run out of people to talk to.
As you will be well aware most folks won’t join your business for a multitude of reasons. If they did then we would have all been millionaires years ago. For the majority of people involved with network marketing they find themselves with no prospects left after only a short period of time, often leaving their business dead in the water.
What’s the solution to this problem?
Well the strategy that I’m going to briefly share with you now will allow you to use the internet to generate a lead flow for your business. It will take some work, but it will be worth it. 1) The first step is to produce a piece of useful content, this could be an article or maybe a video. Now don’t try and make it perfect, it does not need to be. If you try and create a masterpiece, chances are is that it will take you all day. Just make sure it provides some real value to the person who reads or watches it. There are many different subjects that you can create content about, in fact the options are pretty much limitless. You can do a review of a network marketing company or a leadership figure. You can write a ‘how to’ article for something that you do in your business, or if you have learned something new…write about it.
2) You then want to put that content on the internet somewhere. Videos are good for YouTube as they will get a lot of traffic and views, for written content you can use article directories (choose high traffic ones) or Hubpages, or Squidoo. I would recommend that you set up your own website and put your content there, as it’s probably safest.
3) The next step is crucial. You should write a short article promoting the piece of content that you just created in the last step, you might also consider doing a video to promote it. Once you’ve done that, you need to syndicate that short article or video to as many different places online as possible. The more places the better, like article directories, video and blog sites and even bookmarking sites. There are many software applications and services (free & paid) that will do all this for you at the push of a button. Make sure that your article links back to your ORIGINAL content, as you want to benefit from increased rankings in the search engines and you want people to click through to your website/video.
4) The last step is to do this every day for the next 90 days no matter what. It should only take approx two hours each day to complete the process. Take your time the first few times to get used to it as it will probably take longer. After about 10 articles you will be much faster, after 30 you will be a pro. If you stick with this you will quickly find you have so much traffic and leads you will get swamped out.
Those that decide to take action and stick with a plan will be the ones who succeed and attain freedom in their lives. It’s up to you to take things into your own hands and get to work!
